We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Cloud System Architect to join our team. Collaborate with a Government customer to migrate operational mission capabilities from on-premises hardware to AWS Cloud compute infrastructure. The candidate must have demonstrable experience assisting in the implementation and support of large-scale cloud systems and services on AWS, from application rehosting to Cloud Native re-architecting. Core technologies and experience include microservices, containers, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and DevOps practices.
Skill sets to be successful:
Requirements:
-Nine (9) years of experience in software development/ engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline. Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
-Must possess one active mid-level or advanced cloud certification (i.e. AWS, Azure, OpenStack).
-Development experience with both Linux and Windows workloads using cloud technologies with automation including Amazon Cloudformation, OpsWorks, Ansible, Chef, and Docker.
-Demonstrated experience writing software scripts using languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby.
Security clearance TS/SCI w/ poly required.
